No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

Please ensure your weight is in the correct format (kgs/lbs) when you include your weight at checkout
ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

As mentioned by others, the overall experience is great. However, our pilot was named Aaron (sorry if not spelled correctly). Great stories, explained a lot about the weather, the animals, the glacier itself. He made everyone feel safe and comfortable and told great stories about other visits to glaciers and other places he had flown in Utah and Nevada. Coastal makes the whole process easy with pickup, check-in, booties and returns. Pricey but the well worth the time and money.

We were awed by the beauty during our helicopter ride and the sights through the valleys and up the glacier. Wow! We caught a sunny day - so bring your sunglasses! The views were stunning and walk about went by so quick. Thanks Mitch for a great trip!

The flight and scenery was amazing but being on top of the glacier and experiencing that was overwhelming. It was kinda fun drinking glacier water and the expanse of the glacier was majestic to experience.
