No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

Alaska cruise...but not booked through the cruise ship. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. Great staff. Time spent on Mendenhoff Glacier was amazeing. Pilot was very informative. A drink of glacier water was an experience. Would recommend you take gloves with you !!

The pilot Tarik was awesome. He told us about the glacier and explained how goats were on the mountain. He guided our tour on the glacier and showed us interesting things on the glacier surface. He also took pictures of everyone with the helicopter to have a souvenir of our glacier experience.

It was an awesome experience, from pick up at the hotel to return. Great staff, amazing helicopter ride to the Mendenhall Glacier. Fog made traveling to the Herbert Glacier not possible today. Having seen the glacier from the ground only yesterday it was a thrill to be on top. Tourck our pilot and guide was very accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. It is an unforgettable experience.
