What an amazing experience!!! I'd give it 10 stars if they had them. Captain Rich and Grace, his assistant, are just the nicest people and very, very knowledgeable. The tour had 9 people in a small boat. Everyone had an individual window seat. Captain Rich knows exactly where to go to find the whales...he kept us ahead and away from the other tourist boats most of the time. We saw whale after whale after whale. He'd stop the boat whenever we sighted one or more, and the whales just kept either blowing air up or would come up to "put a show" for us, flapping their fins on the water, or diving and showing their tails, even full body jumping out of the water in several instances. We also saw playful sea lions around. Captain Rick explained quite a bit about the glaciers, marine life, etc. Grace introduced us to the life of the whales. Overall a 10 out of 10. Much better than the large groups we saw. Truly money well spent. A quality tour.

I cannot overstate what a terrific trip this was. We saw 10 to 15 whales multiple breaching whales, sea lions, Eagles and salmon. Captain Dalton was awesome and Kelley and her ship mate terrific. Lots of info re whales Juneau and Ak in general. Most highly recommended.
