My family (5 adults) and I went whale watching with Captain Brandon last week and it was one of the highlights of our 10 days in Alaska. There were only 7 people on the boat so we got exactly the kind of up-close-and-personal trip we were hoping for. The whales were an awesome sight and Brandon answered all of our questions. Seeing some of the larger boats, holding maybe a hundred or so passengers, made us truly appreciate the smaller Harv and Marv experience.

We went on this tour as a privately arranged excursion while on a Princess cruise. After disembarking, we easily found the rep at the end of the pier and boarded the bus for the ride over to the harbor. Upon arriving at the harbor (and on our return), we saw many bald eagles both young and mature - keep your eyes open. We met our captain Josh and the Naturalist Megan. They were both friendly and efficient. Josh did a great job of navigating us to several areas to see whales. Megan provided insight into the whales. We saw several whales as well as sea lions. I highly recommend this tour. Hint - if you do the morning tour there’s time to go to the glacier also. We took a cab from here to the glacier and had time to walk to the falls and through the visitor center.

We did this as an excursion while on our Princess Cruise. We had a very good time. A rep met us right when we got off our ship, and once the group was together, they drove us over to the harbor, where we got to meet our captain, Josh, and his assistant, Megan. They were both great. Really nice people and very good at what they do. We spotted whales on several different occasions during the trip. A few times we got pretty close, definitely close enough for some very good pictures. We had a great time and definitely recommend this company. The only disappointment for us is that we heard the groups who went on the tour after ours got to see whales breaching and bubble feeding. Those groups got lucky! Wherever the whales are, and whatever they're doing, this company will make sure you get to see them.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your trip with us! Though they don't follow orders, we very much love the wild animals and the experiences they allow us to have. Thank you for letting us be your go-to for Juneau!
