Getting there 45 minutes early then they took another 45 minutes to let us in. It was 89 degrees and no shade or seating while we waited. There wasn't any water or anything else to drink and outside drinks were not allowed. I am almost 70 years old and got very light headed. And then we sat for quite a while before the cold food was brought out. The salmon was very overcooked and hard. Hard enough to have to stab it and put pressure on it to even get a fork in it. The chicken was blood red on inside and undercooked. All the food was cold! To get a drink you had to stand in line again for a very long time. 2 bartenders for probably 300 people. No water brought to tables. And there was only 1 type of mixed drink and it was horrible. Wife couldn't even drink hers. I was feeling sick from the food, wasn't very appealing. Couldn't even eat much of it and was very hungry when we got there. I heard other people went out to eat after the show because the food was so disgusting. Seems like the place is a money pit and not about customer service. But the show was great and the fire dancers were very good. I had to put everything else out of my mind and just enjoy the show to justify the over 200 dollars we paid. So bottom line is if you go here dont expect food or drinks to be any good but enjoy the show. There are other places that have better food and service.

The luau was fabulous! Trip advisor on the other hand is a joke. We paid $700 for a family of four for luau tickets that included transportation only to find out the day before, there were no more seats available on the bus to the luau and had to drive ourselves. Trip advisor never contacted us to tell us that or to offer a refund. I had to find out on my own when I contacted Ka Moana to check on pick up/location time. Trying to speak to someone at trip advisor to get a refund for our transportation is like pulling teeth.
