Kawaihae Whale Watch - Guaranteed

Overview
Every winter, thousands of humpback whales travel to the warm, shallow waters of Hawai‘i to mate, give birth, and raise their young. Learn the true scale of humpback whales through an intimate encounter on a small-group whale watch, where every seat is a front seat. Get off the beaten path and sail past sheer cliff walls of the windward Kohala shoreline as you discover breathtaking vistas of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Discover whales and the perfect perspective close to the water to allow for a once-in-a-lifetime viewing. Ocean stewardship is deeply embedded in Native Hawaiian culture. Humpback whales, or koholā, are an important part of history, legends, and connection to the sea.

Perfect trip. Have been on other very good whale watch excursions over the years and have to rank this as one of the better trips. The crew was experienced, interactive and provided a great time for our family. We saw whales early and often. Our boat wasn't overcrowded and allowed us to easily move around.

Nope, not much to share. I can’t blame the operators that the whales were gone, but another service turned us down because they told us the whales were either too small or not there.

Seeing the whales play. Tour guide and Captain great! Learned a lot about the whales and surrounding areas!
