Kealakekua Bay Snorkel

Overview
Enjoy a morning on the water on this small boat cruise as we cruise south down the Kona Coast to the pristine Kealakekua Ba keeping our eyes open for large pelagic animals. Enjoy snorkeling in this bay which is often a resting place for the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and home to many of Hawaii's endemic fish. We will explore the sea caves and lava tubs from old lava flows on the way home.

The tour should not have gone out due to wind. Staff showed poor judgment with the speed of boat in those conditions. We all ended up with huge bruises from being tossed around. Very underwhelming snorkelling. Not worth the cost. There were seven of us and we all agreed.

Aloha Lucyr380, Thank you for joining us. It's so unfortunate the wind picked up during the tour and made for an extra bumpy ride home. There were no wind warnings or advisories in the forecast and we're sorry it came up. We're glad you got to experience snorkeling in the calm waters of the beautiful and iconic Kealakekua Bay before the ride home. We're also glad that our experienced and capable Captain was able to navigate the wind and get you safely back to the dock. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay on the island. Best, Virginia

Incredible experience to be able to few these beautiful manta rays. Never realized how big they are. We were treated to a 30 min non-stop show by 4-5 female manta rays. Major kudos to the crew of Becca, Ben and Captain Andy. Mahalo!

Arrival was a bit erratic and took some time, but overall ok…lack of information at first, and not much details, which got better. Return was really bad; no clear indication, no shower (if you don’t ask!!), no place to change!!! Very expedited as if THEY had to go home…. Captain was good, Host was okay at best, although very good in assisting in the water and safety protocol followed
