Kealakekua Bay Snorkel

Overview
Enjoy a morning on the water on this small boat cruise as we cruise south down the Kona Coast to the pristine Kealakekua Ba keeping our eyes open for large pelagic animals. Enjoy snorkeling in this bay which is often a resting place for the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and home to many of Hawaii's endemic fish. We will explore the sea caves and lava tubs from old lava flows on the way home.

My boyfriend and I had a great time on the morning snorkel and boat tour! The captain and guide were both friendly and kept things safe and fun. We were encouraged to point out dolphins so we could get as close as is allowed to them, and it was so cool to see them do tricks from the boat. The speedboat itself was so cool, too. If you like adventure, I recommend sitting in the front for a bumpy ride :). We also had a great time snorkeling in Captain Cook. The snorkel is a popular spot for tours as it’s usually a 4-mile hike to the spot. The water is sooo blue and we even saw reef sharks from a distance. 100% recommend!

Everything we could have hopped for in a day on the ocean! Lots of marine life: dolphins, humpback whales and a manta ray all before snorkeling at beautiful Kaelakekua Bay! Sherri and Carl were greatl!

Kona Snorkel was AMAZING! What a wonderful experience...We were a small group, the captain and crew were super friendly and attentive, and it was all so much FUN. I loved how they kept saying, "This is your tour, guys. Let us know if there is anything else you want to do." It was like your good friends in Kona took you out on a boat.... SO....we swam with dolphins, hung out with a mama whale and her baby f(rom a safe distance), snorkeled and saw incredible tropical fish at the Captain Cook Monument....and even heard some myths and legends and stories. This was one of the best. tours I've ever been on...and a highlight of our entire trip to Kona! Thank you guys! We'll be back when we can!!
