In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

I give this a 5 star rating because a higher number is not available. The entire experience was way beyond my husband's and my expectations. Staff and crew were friendly and well organized. Wet suits were provided and hot drinks with snacks offered. The viewing of the manta rays was amazing. Many huge rays gracefully twisted and turned below us and often came so close to our hands holding onto a rope that they brushed against us. I never imagined such a wonder. I recommend this highly.

It is a very well organized tour. Every thing is well planned and the team made it absolutely easy. Mantas came so close and it a very unique experience. Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it.

Guides were nice nd liked that it was a small group. I just felt sick from the choppy water and gets cold at night, even with a wetsuit. There were also so many groups out in the small space making it difficult to find a spot to chill.
