In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

This was an amazing trip. We highly recommend it. We had 3 rays lopping beneath use for a good 10 minutes straight. They were very close and actually brushed me a couple times. They provided wet suits, but my wife was pretty cold. We were there during a stormy period so I think the water was colder than normal. I thought the temperature was fine. Our group was only six people and I think they try to limit it to that size. The ride to the site was on a large zodiac type boat. They provide storage on the shore for your belongings. There is no storage for your stuff on the boat. I got great video with my GoPro, but others were using phones in water proof cases. The tour operators were friendly and helpful. I parked in the boat trailer parking without any problems.
