In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

This is one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. We were very close to the Rays. They bumped us several times. They are so beautiful and graceful. Like ballerinas in the water. I highly recommend this service and this experience for everyone!!

This is a once in a lifetime experience! The crew was friendly and professional - world class attention to details and safety. We met at the dock at 7:40pm and were in the water by 8:20. Warm drinks before and after. The mantas put on a show for us - so many and so big - swooping somersaults around us. Breathtaking! Thank you!!

Overall it was a great experience, the scheduling and the logistics before going into the boat were fantastic. We arrived to the late night tour so got a private tour for us four. Once we got into the water the Manta Rays immediately appeared. It was unbelievably beautiful to watch these huge sea animals swim. Spectacular. The only downside and the reason for the 4 stars vs 5, is the fact that multiple boats are fighting on the Manta Rays attention. We have seen them constantly during the first 20 minutes, but after that we almost didn't get a chance to see them again as they were swimming in other locations nearby.
