In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Was a little scared and apprehensive about snorkelling in the dark while attracting fish with a light in hopes of seeing a manta ray. However this was the best thing we did while on our island stay. The guides where knowledgeable and the manta rays came within licking distance. It was amazing!!! Don’t be worried just go for it.

Absolutly fantastic to watch the mantas dance around in circles son their way towards the board that you are holding. They come so close that you can rub cheeks with them. Truely amazing. HAWAII ISLAND AND OCEAN TOURS is almoat half the price of all other tours that if found. Everything with the compagny was great.

Was looking for a quick, no-nonsense manta dive between flights. This one was great! We were on the boat and watching the show within minutes. The staff were super cool and laid back, but definitely knew their stuff. I went on a larger manta dive on a previous trip and this one blew it away. We already have plans to do it again next week when we’re back in the Kona side.
