In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Recommended! Guaranteed a great time. solo or in groups. You wont be disappointed. Lots of fish and close encounters with big manta rays

Our evening Manta ray snorkel and the dolphin Snorkel was amazing. The small crew were kind, quick and knew all the right spots. Further, they had a greater appreciation for how to operate to find the dolphins in a way that doesn’t disturb them in their natural habitat. Plenty Manta Rays and Dolphins to see! The crew was very cool. Pretty much like riding around with your friends on a boat for a few hours. My friends and I loved both experiences!

Note: I reached out directly to the organization to try to get a remedy, but they didn't respond. I really enjoyed the experience and would have given this a 5-star recommendation. However, my partner was given a broken snorkel and didn't get to enjoy the manta rays - he pretty much "looked" over the water down towards the earth, and pulled his face up to breathe once in awhile. The employee with us wasn't helpful (said the snorkel was broken, didn't carry extra equipment, and left it), and the operations girl who passed out the equipment, Hailey, just blamed him for "not knowing better". Another woman on our trip had fogged up goggles; same thing, no defogger or helpful tips, just told her what she couldn't do. Hopefully, they can instill some training in problem solving and customer experience. The manta rays were AMAZING - beautiful creatures who were super playful, came up and basically brushed up against us all. We saw about 5 of them!
