Small groups and a short boat ride set our experience apart.

In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

We took our daughter's family and her friend's family to experience seeing the Manta Rays eat plankton at night near the Sheraton Hotel. There was 10 of us. We split times with 6 going first and 4 of us going on the next boat time. It was only about 5 minutes on the boat until we reached the position of the Manta Rays. Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours take care of everything from wet suits and goggles to warm drinks and cookies after returning. It was such an awesome experience to introduce to our family and friends--a must see in Kona!

Besides seeing glorious Manta rays, the absolute best part of this snorkel trip is no divers and a three minute boat ride. You get plenty of Manta action and lots of information. Say hi to Amanda for me😉

Everyone needs to do this. The company makes everything so easy and the Manta Rays are awesome! Easy parking, they provide all the gear, and the Manta Rays do the rest.
