Manta Rays were just majestic. It was remarkable and we want to visit so we can do this again. Great company to work with. We had a great time!

AAfter reading so many positive reviews of he attractiveness of the small group size and intimate nature of the tour, we feel that our expectations were not met. The quality of wet suits and snorkeling equipment was fine; It was the tour itself that was disappointing. When we first rode out to the viewing area, and attempted to join the other boats, the driver apparently didnā€™t want to be bothered with trying to negotiate A viewing space, and took us back toward the way we came to a more remote spot. After getting into the water, it was several minutes before any manta rays showed up. Finally, only one made an appearance, and would come and go out of our viewing area. The guide in the water kept telling us to lay out flat, while he was totally vertical in the water and had his flippers moving constantly, which appeared to keep the rays away. When it was time to get in the boat, there was absolutely no assistance from the boat driver, even though there were several people having difficulty getting up the ladder and out of the water.

Cannot say enough good things about the Manta Ray night dive! These animals are majestic to say the least! Hawaiā€™i Island & Ocean Tours is a great way to get out there to see them! Small group (6 max) and pleasant helpful guides. Well worth the expense to see, highly recommend!
