In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Highly recommend Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours for the Manta Ray night snorkel. They limit the number of people going on the boat and in the water so you get a much better experience. We saw a ton of rays and our guide on the boat and in the water were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Awesome experience that is well worth every dollar. Also family friendly and completely safe. Boat ride is only a few minutes and you are staying in the bay the whole time.

Crew was super friendly and helpful. Boat ride to the manta rays was quick and then we spent the rest of the time in the water. Amazing seeing the manta rays rise to the surface to feed. We had 5-6 rays many of which repeated fed. Before we knew it, it was time to head back. Took about 60 minutes for the whole experience. 10/10 recommend.

We brought our special needs son to experience the wonders of Hawaii. This is an experience he will always remember. The crew and staff were AMAZING in their interactions with him. They made it possible for him to actually see the mantas. Highly recommend this tour and operators!
