What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

A really nice tour on a perfect weather day. The ship had great crew who interacted with and helped the guests. Captain Mike was an excellent narrator. No hype, rather a very informative dialogue with clear annunciation. This was a highlight. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. Be aware that there is cold air and wind so bring some layers.

We had a great tour with Kenai Fjords Cruise. We saw orcas, fin whales, sea lions, seals, and otters. The glacier we visited was massive. It's such a cool experience to see it up close instead of farther away on a cruise ship in glacier bay. This is a great excursion. Good for families as well.
