Kenai Fjords National Park

In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Great experience. My husband is disabled (uses wheelchair and crutches). He often does not have a good experience with these adventures. This group has great accommodations for handicapped individuals. The seating for the handicap was in a great location. We were able to have a great time and he did not miss anything! The crew was very kind and accommodating. Captain was also great at positioning the boat so everyone could see. One of the high points of our Alaska adventure

We took the cruise to Kenai Fjords with our kids and we had a great time. We first took a 4 hour train ride to Seward before the cruise, but we were excited to see great scenery. And we did!!!! Amazing glacier, whales, sea lions... the cruise was very comfortable and the staff were very nice. I highly recommend it!!!!

We went on the 6 hour National Parks Cruise and loved it! Our captain, Jimmy, and the entire crew were friendly and helpful. There was always a staff person close by to answer questions and assist anyone who needed help. We saw sea otters minutes into our trip and this was just the beginning. During the cruise we saw a huge whale (right next to the boat): puffins, seals, ,mountain goat, sea lions, eagles, porpoise, and lots more. Jimmy steered us as close as possible, gave information about each animal, and turned the boat so everyone could see. We also went close to several glaciers. The lunch was good and we were surprised with a fresh, hot cookie on our way back. Other snacks and beverages (including alcoholic drinks) were available to purchase at very reasonable prices. It gets chilly, so definitely dress in layers and bring a camera—you will want to capture these memories. Enjoy!
