What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
2
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

I do not have enough good things to say about this amazing tour! The boat was comfortable, the tour guides were informative and interesting, and the views were absolutely incredible. We saw the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen, a great deal of wildlife (whales, seals, puffins, sea otters, etc.), and glaciers. The staff went out of their way to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible, making stops for photos and even turning the boat around so that people on both sides of the boat could get great photos! This was definitely one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Alaska. Do not miss this tour!! :)

We took the long trip with the small boat and had it all: Great views of mointains and glaciers, Orcas, Humpbacks, Puffins, Sea Lions, Sea Otters, Seals... Best thing ever: the watermicrophone enabled it to also listen do the whales. I will never forget this feeling. If you have not experienced this, you may not be able to understand - so just also do it! It is a perfect day in Alaska.

We loved every second of this cruise. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat along the way was magical. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Great commentary along the way. We would highly recommend this cruise- a day well spent.
