What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
2
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

Beautiful and fun. We had a great time and saw three whales and lots of puffin, seals, and otters. The captain was awesome!

While I do generally prefer smaller group tours, this tour was run very well. The captain and guide were very knowledgeable and gave good information throughout the tour. We were given ample time for wildlife and scenic viewing. We happened to be blessed with very good weather that day and the views were incredible. The Holgate Glacier was the highlight and it didn't dissappoint. (Well...a little since it didn't calve while we were there, but it was beautiful nonetheless). We saw bald eagles, puffins, gulls, Dall porpoise, sea lions and humpback whales. While it is rare to see a solo humpback bubble feeding, we did get this rare treat! The luncheon was very well executed, although the meal was pretty simple, and just average in flavor, but definitely satisfactory.

Seeing the Whales was the most awesome thing. Also the crew was fantastic! When the weather got rough and we had to turn around and not go to the Glazier, we got some money back. Never seen a company do that.
