What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
2
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

This tour needs to come with a warning for anyone prone to sea sickness. You spend the majority of the time in open waters. At least half the boat was sick and the crew was obviously very used to cleaning up vomit. The glacier was beautiful but that is about 15 minutes of the 6.5 hour cruise. Beware!

Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!! Not joking. I could go on and on about the 20 humpback whales we saw feeding together, or the seals, sea otters, and fin whales. The more important thing to note is how they do this. They have a large network of boats on the water that are constantly communicating about where to find what type of wildlife. The staff was very friendly, and our expectations were more than met. Would recommend to anyone.
