I'll start by saying that if you do the normal trip without the ultimate pass this trip was probably okay. Also I cannot fault Kennedy the place is amazing and so was the tours and exhibits. The problem was we booked the ultimate pass through this company. Which included a private guided tour of the Atlantis exhibit, lunch with an astronaut and the up close and personal bus tour. We never got the guided Atlantis tour. We were sent on our way to do it ourselves as soon as we got there. In fact once the guide took us off the bus and we got through the main gate, that was the last we saw of him until 5pm. Our dine with astronaut was at 12-1pm and then bus tour at 1.30pm. As it was the up close tour, the tour did not end up at the saturn 5 exhibit until 3.40pm. We had to be back at the bus for 5pm and had to cue for the shuttle buses from the Saturn 5 back to the main buildings (cue time 30 mins then bus ride itself is 10 mins back) this left us just half a hour to do the Saturn 5 and Apollo area which was not long enough. When I booked this I was told an 11 hour day trip. We did not arrive at NASA until 10am an expected to be back at bus for 5pm. A 5pm pick up for the bus is far too early for the people who have booked the ultimate experience. We just didnt have time to even look around at the Saturn exhibits let alone go in the shop etc. Im also upset that I paid for a "private guided tour" then was just told to do it ourselves! I think you need to do separate tours for the people who have paid a lot of extra money to do the ultimate trip as opposed to the normal trip and make the bus time 6pm pick up. $650 for 4 people isnt cheap. Half a hour at the Saturn centre is not long enough. If I had of known i would have just booked through NASA direct and made my own way to and from the centre. It ruined the afternoon as worrying about times and being back at the main centre to catch the bus.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us on this matter. Your feedback is very important to us and I would really like to research this further in regards to the guide on our tour. Our tour guide will be with our guests for the first part of the morning at the Atlantis building and then our guests are free to do the remainder of the complex on their own as moving large groups through the center is extremely difficult with wait times on rides and exhibits. Yes booking the Ultimate space Pass does require more time during the day that have set times. i.e Dine and tour. Both of which are amazing. If you can email our reservations team with more details at [email protected] I would greatly appreciate it so that we can do some further research. Once again thank you for reaching out with your feedback.

Very informative and interesting. Lunch with an Astronaut was a lot of fun , buffet was good, staff was efficient . Touring the sites where so many historic launches took place was awesome.

My partner and I had such a good day at the Kennedy Space Centre. Whether you have an interest in space or not, I don't think you can fail to enjoy your time at NASA. The basic bus trip shows you around the launch pads at a distance. We had wanted to do one of the enhanced tours but they were sold out, however we were extremely happy with what the price we paid gave us. If you are 55 or over you get to go as a senior! Enjoy!
