Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All guests are required to sign an insurance/liability waiver in order to participate
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and are required to show a current driver's license
Minimum age for the tour is 5 years
Children must weigh at least 40 lbs (18 kg) in order to fit into the required life jacket
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Children 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian

What To Expect

Tongass National Forest

For the Jeep® portion of this safari adventure, you will join up to three other guests, with plenty of opportunities to change drivers for those who want to get behind the wheel! While you traverse the mountain roads of the Tongass National Forest, your guide provides you with interesting and informative commentary using a two-way radio. You'll be fascinated by the area's natural history as you pass through old growth and new growth forests and stop for magnificent views and photo opportunities along the way.

I highly recommend this experience. Not only do you get to drive over backroads in Jeeps, you also get to canoe in a really pretty lake and go on a nature hike. Our guide Clover really made the experience a great one.

Great experience! True off roading, not just a dirt road. Clover, our guide, was great! Great way to get outside, have fun and learn about Alaska.

We had Joey as our tour guide and he was awesome!! He was both funny and super informative and answered all the questions our large group had. It was incredible driving up the mountains and seeing all the wildlife, then canoeing across the lake and hiking for a bit, and then coming back for a well deserved snack and drink. Highly recommend Joey’s sizzlin’ swimmin’ slamin’ jamin’ salmon sandwich!! Thanks for the great experience guys!
