Snorkeling is fun, safe, and easy aboard the Sundiver III. Join us for a 2.5 hour underwater tour to the shallow, inner, coral reefs located at the "World Famous" Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary, also known as the original John Pennekamp State Park. Our friendly crew specializes in kids, families, and first time snorkelers. You will be absolutely amazed at the underwater world that lives just offshore of Key Largo. High quality rental gear (mask, fins, float vest) is INCLUDED with all snorkel tours provided by Sundiver.

The TripAdvisor reviews of Sundiver were right on target! From the fun and helpful advisors at the registration desk, to the easy directions to the boat...the Sundiver staff made their process easy! Although it was a very windy day, the captain took us out to a spot on the corral reefs that provided excellent views of the corral, beautiful salt water fish, barracuda, conch (and their shells) and many plants. The Captain and his crew provided great instruction, answered questions, and helped with adjustments to equipment! Our family had a great time snorkeling with Sundiver Tours!

This was our third trip with Sundiver tours. This time it was my husband, our 16 year old son, and me. The staff at the check in station were friendly and efficient. We were running a bit late due to traffic and they told me if it got too late, I could pay over the phone to secure our spots. Captain Ken and Matt were both very nice and helpful. They are very safety conscious and made sure everyone was adequately prepared. We had a large group on board who had been partying for some time prior to boarding. Matt called several of them out when they were texting instead of paying attention to his safety briefing. Matt also addressed them in Spanish when it seemed necessary. They took us to Grecian Rocks and it was gorgeous! It is a relatively healthy and active reef. When we arrived at the reef, Captain Ken explained the layout and how to get the best experience. He reiterated several times the importance of not touching the reef or any part of the park, including the bottom. He also explained how bringing a conch out of the water will kill it. It was shallow in some parts and I was afraid I was going to accidentally touch something. We had adequate time and space to snorkel before he blew the siren to call us back on board. We saw a lot of reef fish, corals, fans, barracuda, and a ray. They also supplied free ice water after we returned to the boat. After the trip we returned to the store to check out the t shirts. The lady there was great, helping us try to find the shirt my son wanted in the size he needed. The next time we are in South Florida, I'm sure we will return to Key Largo and Sundiver for trip #4.

We decided to do a last minute snorkel and were lucky Sundiver had availability. We were booked on the 12:00 snorkel but arrived early and they were able to get us in for the 9:15 snorkel, which was great! The snorkel tour was great! We saw all kinds of different types of fish and coral. We had no problems snorkeling, even my 10 year old did great. It was a little choppy due to storms from night before but it didn't interfere. The only thing is you have to be careful with jelly fish. (which is not the tours fault, it's the ocean). When we were done snorkeling my son was floating on a pool noodle and not paying attention and got stung by a jelly fish. The boat staff immediately help get him in the boat and sprayed vinegar on him. They were very attentive and made sure he was OK and feeling better. By the time we got off the boat my son was completely fine. The ladies in the main office/store are really nice too and even have awesome souvenirs and t-shirts for reasonable prices.
