After visiting the 'fake' visitor centers and getting prices we stopped in to the Sundiver Station to set up a snorkeling tour for the same day. The price was right and the timing was fine. Everything was smooth and simple. They provided directions to the marina with free parking. We brought our own equipment. The only issue we had was beyond their control: sea jellies! We had 'skin' suits just for that purpose but didn't think we would need them. I wasn't expecting much as I have snorkeled in Hawaii and Mexico. But I was impressed. I imagine we saw over 20 different species. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA2zv64yDys

This snorkeling tour in Key Largo provided a nice boat ride and a great area to go snorkeling. There were lots of fishes to see. One drawback was the jellyfishes. Had I known there were going to be jellyfishes, I would've worn my skinsuit. I am not a fan of being stung so I was only out snorkeling for 15 minutes. After running into a bunch of them, I headed back to the boat. I heard one little boy screaming his head off while he was in the ocean because he had been stung. The captain had mentioned that he had only seen one jellyfish in the previous tour run but he probably had not been looking out for them so there were more out there than he thought. I would have given this tour 5 stars if it had not been for the jellyfishes.

Went to coral reefs of state park and saw good coral and fish sightings. Good helpful tour guides and good view of sunset on afternoon return trip
