Though this adventure is on a large catamaran, you don't actually sail to your destination, the third largest reef system in the world - as we were told. The trip is about 3 hours, 2 motoring out and back. The crew gave the folks on board a thorough overview of how to use the snorkel equipment and reminded them to stay at least 6 feet above the reef to avoid stinging corals. The only issue I had was that their website would not allow me to book for the day we wanted to go and so I called just in case and found that they were actually under-booked for the day.

Wonderful crew and experience with this group of fun people! My husband and I loved snorkeling in Key West, and was by far our favorite snorkel we've ever had. Thank you so much for keeping us safe and giving us a wonderful day out in the beautiful water. The bar on board was fantastic and an absolute blast to enjoy on the way home :)

My friend and I booked a half day reef snorkeling excursion for our trip to Key West last weekend. We were both so incredibly impressed with everything. The Sebago crew and Captain Morgan - yes, that's accurate and yes, she is totally cool about people cracking a joke about it - were awesome! They were very engaging, truly displayed a passion for what they do, and were very attentive to everyone. Oh - and they were hilarious as well which made for a lot of fun. While we didn't have great visibility - and this is no fault of Sebago as some reviewers have cited - we still enjoyed the catamaran ride and being in warm waters. Regarding the equipment, it was great. Our gear worked fine, the boat was squeaky clean, and there was great seating options all around. While the catamaran could have easily fit more people, Sebago limits the number of riders (we had about 65 on our excursion) which made for a very pleasant trip. Who wants to be smashed with people? I would 100% recommend Sebago for your trip.
