I took my 2 yr old niece, 4 yr old son, and 8 yr old son to Lego-land. We drove 3 hours to this Lego-Land discovery center. The entry into the discover center was very easy, the staff were all very helpful. I did like that they gave me a voucher for the parking garage so I didn't have to pay to park. I don't know if that is a regular thing or an just that day or time, etc. Overall the center was great. The space was small, definitely had a capacity limit. We did not do the 2 mini rides or the 4-D ride they had available for extra. There was only 1 room/exhibit that had models or miniature Lego designs; which was a little disappointing. . There were 6 building stations for kids to build different Lego design and then do an activity with them. There were not very many instructions and most of the Lego table were very dirty or missing key Lego pieces for the activities. There was a little kids section for children under 3 to play with life-size Lego blocks and duplo Lego blocks. There was a good tube/climbing space for the kids to run around, and great seating next to it for parents to watch and sit comfortably but the jungle gym thing was small and my 8 yr old had trouble navigating through it. The age on the jungle gym thing was 3-12, but I could not imagine a 12 yr old being able to do anything in there. My 8 yr old son was almost too old for the Lego activities, and started to get bored after an hour of being there. Overall the advertising on this Lego land was exaggerated, and was over priced for the amount of activities available. The gift shop had a great variety of Lego sets but there's a 10% sales tax and all the Lego sets were about 10-25% more than online or other stores.

We took our 12 year old son for his birthday and he LOVED it! Good fun for entire family. 4D theater was awesome and there are two rides included in the admission price. Definitely a good value of activities for the price you pay. We stayed for 4.5 hours and if our son wasn’t begging for lunch, we could have stayed longer. We reserved tickets for 9am. I would definitely recommend going early as it got pretty busy as the day went on.

Bricks and attractions aren’t clean, kids are allowed to run rampant without parental supervision. Dirt and dust is clumping on the pre-built structures and interactive activities were seriously lacking with many buttons and displays not even functional. Kids themselves were disappointed with minimal bricks available for building use. 4D film was short and the theatre felt dirty with scratched-up glasses. It feels like a money grab. We seriously considered asking for a refund upfront. We ran the course as a one-and-done-and-never again. It is not worth the admission cost. Save the cash and find another family activity in KC as this DOES NOT live up to the LEGO brand in any way, shape, or form.
