Whale watching in the wild and pristine waters of Icy Strait, where Humpback whales are abundant and sighted on every trip, with small business owner Captain Josh! Otter and Steller Sea Lions are also very common, with Orcas, Brown Bears, and other wildlife frequently sighted!

Owned and operated by our own Captain Josh, he will be your personal guide as he navigates the wilderness waters of Icy strait. What makes his tours special is the energy he has and the creative ways he finds to show you his beloved wildlife, so that you can really see and appreciate these creatures with him, and to make every tour amazing.

His 14 passenger vessel was designed specifically for whale watching on Alaska's waters, and will provide a safe and stable viewing platform for you. He also provides the one truly Drone-integrated whale watching tour in the world, providing you with views and videos of wildlife that are truly unique, and at the end of it, you get to take the footage from your tour home!

Captain Josh got us close enough to the Bubble netting whales that we could hear them and even smell their breath. The drone footage gave a beautiful perspective that personalized the experience by showing our group on the deck with the whales surfacing nearby. The drone also allowed Josh to keep us closer to the whales as he could see them below the water surface. We also got into a pod of Orcas.

Wow!!! I cannot express how amazing this tour was!!! Captain Josh and his crew were fabulous!!! We were able to see a pod of humpback whales bubbling as well as sea lions, sea otters and puffin. It was a great, intimate tour! Josh has a wonderful wealth of knowledge about the area and the wildlife. The drone footage was amazing!!! I promise you will not be disappointed at all!!

The drone footage of whales is a must see trip. We are not novices of whale watching, but Josh adding the drone footage is incredible. New industry standard. Plus, Josh is a genuine, honorable gentleman. I was worried the drone was just a gimmick, and the boat would stay super far away to make the fort-age the inly real photos of the trip. I was soooo wrong, the drone provides true value to whale watching, and while option purchase for only $25 per couple/daily is very reasonable, but Josh threw in other footage for free. The super cool part was Cpt Josh sighting a brown bear on the way home. Rare to see in Icy Point, but while i saw inly a rock, Cpt Josh saw a bear 1/4-1/2 mile away away. Josh is amazing knowledge of bears is amazing to give incredible experience. Do it or be foolish and remorseful for not soinf it.
