Overview

Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The 45-minute main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

My family and I loved the storyline of the Luau. Been to one other Luau on another island and it was also an amazing experience, but the Luau Kalamaka was one step up with the whole story of the family and culture! We'll definitely recommend to others as well as return with more family for them to experience!

Show was nice… Our request to be at the front seats was granted .🥰 Needs improvement on your menus. We are expecting some Hawaiian foods but nothing was served. Food Trays are almost empty with my 2x in line. (2x for the dessert)…

Thank you for your feedback. The buffet selections are replaced throughout the dinner portion and include lomi lomi salmon and kalua pork which are Hawaiian dishes. Mahalo.

Really enjoyed the storytelling and dancing especially the fire dragons. I would give the food just a C+ but everything else about the venue in the evening was great. My son would especially like to see the huka huka dance incorporated into the show.
