Luau Kalamaku with Buffet Dinner & Show

Overview
Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The 45-minute main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Show was good but the food selection was not good as expected We opted to take the train in our booking but due to taking this, we miss out viewing the local craft and were rushed into the seating arena by staff.

Wonderful show and music. I'm a former Polynesian dancer so, my expectations were high. The show exceeded my expectations. A great family and celebration event. The food was very good and the drinks were strong. I also liked the boutique with local artisans they had before the show.

A must do when in Kuau’i! The costumes were beautiful and the cast is talented! Very much enjoyed the mix of traditional Hawaiian entertainment like hula and fire dancing entwined with Hawaiian culture and history. The entire production tells a story. The food was great and allows you to try some local specialties! Make sure you arrive early to shop the vendors selling local crafts and art and try the mai tais at the plantation made with local sugar cane and locally grown vanilla. Delicious!!! No need to research any more luau options- just go here!
