We enjoyed Ken's wealth of information during our tour, the convenience of being picked up at our hotel and dropped off in Alexandria, and all the extras that Ken knew about the area. Having someone with his knowledge base to share Mt. Vernon with was expected, but it was all the additional information that he shared with us about the DC area, as well.

I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a great review. I am always learning new things about Mount Vernon and George Washington and enjoy sharing those findings with my guests. Living next door to Mount Vernon for many years, it has always been awe-inspiring! I never tire of visiting.

Awesome private tour! Kids were 13 and 9 and they loved it. Ken was very knowledgeable and made it fun for my kids. He actually worked at Mount Vernon for a couple years before starting his own private tour business. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this tour! Ken is so knowledgeable and experienced - he really makes Mount Vernon come alive! He was flexible and eager to personalize the tour just for us. He answered our many questions and even offered great recommendations for Alexandria Old Town at the end of our time together. You will not be sorry if you book this experience - well worth the cost!

Many thanks for the great A+ review and compliments from two educators! It was a pleasure to show you around the Estate. You guys were super troopers on a cold, snowy morning!
