Make close contact with these gentle and lovable creatures in one of the largest winter gathering sites for manatees in Florida. Observe manatees as they swim all around you with some of them curious enough to come close to your kayak. In the summer month we paddle up to the spring head where you have a chance to jump into the crystal clear spring to cool off and to explore the aquatic life living in the spring.
Our tour groups are always small. We never take more than 5 people on a tour to provide a personalized experience that prioritizes quality and safety. All of our tour guides are professionally trained with a love to share with you their knowledge, that will turn a wonderful trip into an unforgettable, inspiring adventure.

It is recommended you wear quick dry clothes and water/river shoes
We recommend you bring a swim suit, warm wool or fleece top (winter), waterproof rain jacket or poncho, sun protection (sunhat, sunglasses, sun screen), a camera, and a towel to dry off afterwards.
There is no restroom at the meeting location. The last public restroom is at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location. We recommend you stop there before your tour.

Astrid was great. Able to work with a nervous dad/husband and 3 first time kayakers. Knows so much about local wildlife, vegetation, and ecosystems. We had a great time and will be coming back for her bioluminescence tour. The Blue Springs was amazing and full of things to see.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Astrid was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. We had the good fortune of seeing many water birds, manatee, alligators, turtles, and even wild boar. The picnic at the end was a nice touch. You cannot go wrong with this trip.
