What To Expect

Port of the Islands Marina

The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

Fantastic trip, Captain John was friendly, great sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge on local flora and fauna... fantastic 90 minutes.. we saw five manatees, alligator, shark, ibises, and tarpon.

Had an Amazing Time!! Capt Tristen was fun and knowledgeable. When he found manatees he was patient with our questions..even found alligators!!

Our tour was awesome. We spotted a Manatee about 15 mins in to the tour. Our guide Andrew and his dog Bella were great guides. We ended up seeing 2 Manatees and 2 gators along with a few unique birds. The experience was great and we really enjoyed this tour. Would highly recommend it.
