What To Expect

Port of the Islands Marina

The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

Boat trip/tour was amazing! We originally went on a Wednesday afternoon but didn’t see any manatees, so they told us to use their “manatee guarantee” and come back for free. We were able to get on the Friday morning boat and saw so many manatees, birds, and alligators! We had 2 great captains - Capt. Tristan and Capt. John! Both great and very knowledgeable, funny guys. Definitely recommend this tour for a nice day on the water. Capt. John is pictured here with our crab friend 🦀!

What a great day! The manatees came right up to our boat! And it was cool to see the alligators! We had a wonderful time with John as our Captain, he was entertaining and the facts he shared were very interesting. Even my 12 year old grandson loved it. We loved that it was a small boat with a small group. We loved the extra attention and the manatees were comfortable with us being right next to them. Thanks Captain John!
