Colorfully, he shares personal stories of the real Mayberry, USA that inspired the classic TV series "The Andy Griffith Show". He shares his relationship with several celebrities and many space heroes who have made Manteo such a unique and special place to visit. How could one little town have so many "Firsts"! The information was in-depth and yet fun. Each stop along the tour had another exciting moment in time. Lastly, the tour guide, Francis, was top notch. He loves his home town, the people who have come before him, and brings the history of the island to life.
