He shares his relationship with the celebrities and many space heroes who made Manteo's history so unique. This tour has been featured on PBS show "NC Weekend". What an awesome experience! Loved all the history about this cute town that was revealed along the guided tour. It is an easy walk and doesn't require any exercise experience...even our 7 year old enjoyed it. Lots of really unique sights to take in along the downtown waterfront. It was evident that chief really knew his stuff. You can tell he takes pride in his tour and loves sharing his knowledge of the town with others. If your thinking of booking don't wait any longer! It's a must!!

Chief is a delightful and very knowledgeable guide! I Learned so much about all the « firsts » in our nation that happened on this little Island !! Fantastic mix of lore, humor and entertainment. I’ve been on many walking tours here on the Outer Banks and across the country…..this one is at the TOP! This is truly a Must Do activity for locals and visitors !! I really appreciate Chief’s unique perspective and personal stories that he weaves into the great history of the Outer Banks.
