Lori was a great guide full of education and fun. We had a blast learning about Alaska and exploring a glacier. Lori provides the transportation and stops for lunch, etc, with education, and then another company provided the glacier tour itself (included). Overall a fun-packed day! We saw some amazing glacier sites and learned a ton.

This was such an awesome tour. I was picked up from my hotel in Anchorage. Jeremy was our driver and was really cool. He provided snacks and drinks for the 2 hour ride. The ride itself was so beautiful with it scenery. Once we arrive at the Matanuska Glacier, we get equipped with helmets and shoe spikes. Our guide for the hike was wonderful and funny. I forgot her name but it might have been Carlie or Cali. Great sense of humor and knowledgeable about the glacier. The hike itself wasn't difficult but definitely watch your step as you get closer to the ice. We drank glacier water and ate ice as well. We were on the Glacier for about 2-3 hours before we headed back to the camp. If you think the tour is over, its not! after leaving Matanuska Glacier, we went to eat at the Long Rifle Lodge just a few minutes away. The food was great and the views of the glacier from the restaurant were better. After eating, we then ride back to Anchorage. Everyone on the tour enjoyed it and the team hosting was phenomenal. This is perfect to spend a whole day in Alaska.
