Hailey I believe her name was … our tour guide! She was amazing! Very informative and very attentive to where everyone is while walking around the glacier. This was the best, up close, hands on tour! You literally get pictures walking, touching, and inside the glacier! Very memorable! Pictures are so awesome that we took! This is safe tour for a family or just a beautiful couples tour. Must do! A guided tour hikes you around all the different areas of the glacier. You learn how a glacier is formed and how it evolves over time into what you are seeing and walking on. There are opportunities for gorgeous photos of the glacier and surrounding forests and mountains. Well worth the time!

If you are looking for a day tour, I would highly recommend the 907 Tours. Our previous tour company cancelled their tour with us on Wednesday, and we were in Anchorage, AK for one day that following Saturday. 907 Tours got us in last minute and moved some things around so they could provide their service to us. We were very happy that they did. 907 Tours picked us up at the hotel (and picked up other families at the hotels too). Mike was our tour guide and he was prompt when he picked us up in their very clean and spacious tour van. Mike took us up the Glenn Hwy to Mantanuska Glacier. He was very knowledgeable about the mountain area and the glaciers that we saw on the tour. Here are some tips for you. I would recommend booking with this company earlier than later. If you want to take pictures, sit in the front seat for the best view. They do not provide food so bring snacks if you want (they do offer taking you to a cafe though). They do provide bottled water.
