Mauna Kea Summit

One of the best places to see the sunset and stargazing and it's also the highest mountain on earth. Comfortable 4X4 passenger van as transportation.Jackets and gloves provided to keep you warm. Experienced tour guide to talk about our history and show you our amazing night with a laser pointer. Get close to the stars with our professional Celestron telescope and get a nice photo with our DSLR camera.

This trip was a blast! Thank you all of the team for the great tour and kudos to Anna and Jamey! Anna gave us a great tutorial of geography and history of Mauna Kea during the trip. Once we’ve arrived to the top of Mauna Kea Summit, we had almost 30 minutes to enjoy sunset. After getting dark, moved to visitor center for star gazing and Anna and Jamey gave us a tour of astronomy. We were able to take pictures, was able to see Saturn and Jupiter via telescope along with snacks. I would highly recommend this tour!

Jamie & Blaze did an amazing job ensuring that I and everyone was comfortable, safe, and that we enjoyed ourselves. They were always available to answer questions, help take photos and give out cool trivia. While this tour is/could be on the expensive side, I definitely without any hesitation say that it is well worth every single hard earned penny. The experience of seeing a once and a lifetime sunset coupled with seeing the massive amount of stars in the night sky, nothing can top that.
