I went on this trip with a group of locals. For some of us, it was our first rafting trip. Tanner H. did a fantastic job guiding us down the Mendenhall. He picked the perfect photo spot and sent us a picture of the photo when none of us brought a camera. Tanner was super friendly and a fun guide. Mendenhall river only has a few rough spots and it was a great first raft. As locals, we were familiar with most of the areas and it was neat to see popular trails and housing communities from the view of the river. We had a great trip!

My family and I have just returned from two weeks in Alaska and this was one of our favorite things to do! None of us had ever been rafting before and our guide Ethan was fantastic! He was very skilled and knowledgeable and our family had a great time. The trip down the lake was beautiful and we saw several bald eagles on our trip. We saw Mendenhall Glacier from a distance and it was beautiful. It rained the whole time on our trip but you're going to get wet anyway so we didn't mind a bit! I would highly recommend this for a family....we have two children, one 15 and one 12 and they LOVED it!

I thought the rapids were a little softer then I was thinking and there wasn’t much to see towards the end of the rapids. But our guide Tanner was great and the whole thing ran quite well.
