While you float along the 6-mile (9.6-km) route, take in the amazing sights of the glacier, the sheer mountains and the abundant wildlife. No rafting experience is required and this tour is suitable for the whole family. Want to be more active and involved? Ask for a paddle raft, where you will follow your guide's commands and power your raft through the 1-mile stretch of class II rapids. Whatever your preferred activity level, we can accommodate you.

If you are in Juneau this is truly not something to miss. Our guide Alex was amazing. He rowed us through absolute God's country. It is just so peaceful riding down the river. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He really make the trip so much fun. Thank you Alex for such an incredible experience.

I was super excited to do this excursion on our cruise this past May and it did not disappoint. Bradley was our guide and he was great, super nice and funny he made this a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend for anyone visiting Juneau. We floated in front of the glacier (which was awesome!) and then started down the rapids. It was a great trip and I would for sure do again, I did not realize how much I would like rafting. Thanks Bradley!

Best of Alaska Mendenhall Lake Canoe Adventure. Good for family trips. Great view, fun and full of adventure. Alex Vanburen is the best tour guy.
