Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

This is a must-do tour if you are visiting Juneau! Gorgeous scenery with knowledgeable and friendly guides. This was a fantastic family experience - we came with our two teenage sons and they absolutely loved it. Casey, Andrew and Ryan were the best - I felt safe the whole time. When my husband first suggested this tour I was a bit hesitant - I’m used to vacations where we sit on the beach and drink mai-tais - so this was definitely out of my comfort zone. Our guides put us all at ease and I could tell they were well-trained in case anything went wrong. The paddle out and back wasn’t too bad and the hike on the glacier was incredible. Safety was primary, but that didn’t stop us from a full and beautiful experience. Thank you Casey, Andrew and Ryan for a amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We learned so much - saw so much - and most of all, we had FUN! Do not hesitate to book this tour - you will not regret it!

These glaciers are more beautiful than photos when walking on it. Truly fantastic experience of life time. Rainy day is not a problem, enables more blue ice views. And hotel pickup is sweet :D The guide from Andrew, Casey, and Ryan is amazing. Will pay a visit with more friends to experience it again!
