I would definitely give this more stars if it was possible. Ryan and Grant were amazing guides Their insight and knowledge were amazing, they definitely gave you the impression that they loved what they were doing. The weather co-operated and the lake was calm which helped a lot with the canoe trip. The experiences at the glacier were indescribable and I can only recommend for anyone to take this excursion when in Juneau. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Right up front, this is a quality company from my recent experience. I booked my excursion in advance for 3 of us. The week before our excursion while we were in Alaska, my 2 travel companions hurt their knees. Liquid Alaska Tours were true to their word and allowed them to cancel with a full refund. That meant that I was going solo. Guides Ben and Casey were amazing and very qualified. We had the best weather to be able to view the glacier. Not what most people would consider best, but to experience Alaska with light rain and fog made this experience something I will never forget. We were able to enter an ice cave (amazing) and hike up onto the glacier quite a ways. By the time we paddled the canoe back to base camp, I felt like everyone on this tour (including the guides) had become friends for the 4 hours we were together. You may think the cost is high, but this tour company took great care of us all and their knowledge and experience was well worth the cost. Included in the cost you are provided with waterproof jackets, pants, rubber boots, gloves and crampons. At the end of the excursion, Ben and Casey even provided us with our choice of hot chocolate, hot cider or green tea. Nice touch.

This is A MUST if you happen to be in Juneau, Alaska. Ben and Casey are very helpful, friendly, accommodating and professional. They scout the trail ahead on the glacier as the glacier changes daily. We feel safe and enjoy the whole experiences. I definitely would give more starts if possible. The landscape and glacier are very serene, almost too good to be true. It is awesome. Sadly the glacier is melting faster that it can recover. Seeing this will make you think what we can do to help our climate, our environments and how we can help out these awesome glaciers.
