Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

Can’t say enough about Abby and Joey. They were amazing tour guides and full of knowledge. The 12 and 14 year old with us thought it was the best thing they have ever done. This is a can’t miss. And Abby will even sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat with you if you ask nicely!

We booked this tour while traveling to Alaska on the Norwegian Joy. It was a once in a lifetime experience and Grant and Abby were amazing guides! They made the excursion so much fun, very educational, and made sure we were all very comfortable on this adventure! If you're traveling to Juneau, this tour is a must do!

We booked this tour in advance of our cruise to Alaska. Grant and Abby were awesome guides who made sure we were picked up and delivered back to the ship on time. They shared interesting facts about wildlife in and around the Mendenhall Glacier area as well as the glacier itself. The canoe and hiking equipment were in excellent condition, they ensured our safety while having fun, and snacks were provided after the tour. We highly recommend this company!
