This tour was absolutely wonderful!! Andrew and Alli were absolutely fantastic guides for the adventure! Motivating a large canoe full of "vacationers" is no easy task! They kept our minds busy and kept us moving forward! Be prepared to work on this trip! Safety was their top priority! I only wish others in the group had really paid attention to what we would be doing beforehand, it's a team effort to row! The crampons were a new experience but Andrew and Alli were there to help anyone who needed it. The glacier was SO amazing! And being on TOP of it.. WOW!! We even had a chance to go into the ice cave (there isn't always one available) and we felt so privileged! The views were stunning! All the gear was provided that you could need and they allowed time for pictures! Wear layers! We got warm canoeing but it got cooler on the glacier! Great guides made this trip! Thank you so much!!

What a great time we had with Mo and Casey this week as we took a tour with them to traverse the Mendenhall Glacier. They were fun, as well as extremely competent and safety conscious. This was a tour behind anything I have since before. Canoeing... no prob but being out in the elements and putting on crampons to walk on the ice was a whole new experience. The beauty of the ice and surrounding area was best seen up close and personal. The 8 people in our group throughly enjoyed it and Casey and Mo were great. It is not an activity for the "faint of heart".

Thank you for your review! Walking on a glacier is truly a unique experience and crampons provide that extra support and comfort that is needed to walk on ICE! We are so happy to hear that Mo and Casey were not only safe, but fun!

Mo & Ali were really friendly. It’s a 1hr canoe with about 12 people to the glacier and 1hr back with about 1-2hrs on the ice. Wear warm clothes!!! We went in the peak of summer and were pretty freezing but we are from Australia! We all loved it but just wish there was more time on the ice and you could hike up higher onto the glacier but a very unique experience and would highly recommend if you’re physically able to paddle for that amount of time and can walk steep hills and over rocky ground!
