We did this tour the day our cruise docked in Juneau. It was truly the highlight of our vacation! Matt and Casey were our tour guides and they were extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful throughout the entire excursion. The canoe to the glacier was great, you get to take in beautiful views the entire time. The glacier itself- there are no words. It is magnificent. We stayed on the glacier for over an hour and were able to climb up/down different parts of it. It is truly stunning. Matt and Casey made sure we were comfortable and felt safe at all times. The gear they give you is top notch which is great since it gets pretty chilly on the glacier. They have dry bags to keep your valuables in and even provide snacks. Once we were back to at the canoe launch site, they offered us hot chocolate or coffee. It truly doesn't get better than this excursion. If you are ever in Juneau and want to see the glacier- do this tour!!! You will not regret it!

We booked this excursion for our cruise stop in Juneau. Andrew and Mo were excellent from the moment we arrived. On many excursions you are hurried through so the company can get on to their next group...not this one! Mo and Andy were actually excited that we all had to be back on our ships later than they thought so we'd have extra time at the glacier. The canoe trip was long but well worth it. The view when the canoe makes it around the little peninsula is absolutely breathtaking. I don't consider myself to be in great physical condition and I had no trouble paddling the canoe (a few breaks :) or walking on the rocks and ice. All of the equipment you need is provided and is in excellent condition. I felt 100% of the time. Mo and Andy were excellent guides who shared their knowledge and love of the outdoors. This excursion was our splurge for the trip and it did not disappoint. I would completely recommend it!!! Now, about the ice caves...every single person, including me, asked about walking in the ice caves. The explanation was understandable and the fact that we weren't able to do so was disappointing, but it did not take away from the tour at all. There is a disclaimer about ice caves on the information but the pictures look so amazing, of course everyone is hopeful.

We had a great time with our teenagers on this canoe and hike on the glacier. Alli and Casey were great guides who were both knowledgeable and fun. Easy group paddle to the glacier followed by a walk around. Tour provided ran suits, boots, and crampons. Much better than just doing the tour center as you actually walk on the glacier. No ice caves on our trip but we still had a great time and were amazed at what we saw and experienced. First class tour that was well organized with pickup, setup, gear and even warm drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, cider) when we wrapped up. Nice touch.
