Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. We had an excellent experience with Mo and Ally on our glacier canoe paddle and hike. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had great weather and it was the highlight of our vacation. I would highly recommend!

A truly awe-inspiring trip to the Mendenhall Glacier! Andrew and Moe are very knowledgeable and entertaining guides. They took safety seriously while allowing the group move at its own pace. I highly recommend this tour!!!

This has to be one of the best tours in all of Alaska! Our guides, Matt and Ryan, took fantastic care of us the whole day. The canoe part of the trip involved approximately 5 miles of paddling, round trip, which was a lot for those of us who don't paddle regularly. But Matt and Ryan shared stories, told jokes and even sang from time to time to take our minds off the exertion! Up on the glacier, of course the beauty was other-worldly! We were impressed by the quality of the equipment, which included rain gear and crampons. Even more importantly, Matt and Ryan were exceptionally professional. As light-hearted as they were, we always felt like we were in good hands with very safe guides. Overall, the value and quality of this experience was unbeatable.
