What a thing to say…..”I stood on a glacier!” This is a must do! Kevin and Kelby were amazing guides who were the perfect compliment to this adventure. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and was a spiritual experience for me personally. Be ready to work on the way there as you will be paddling a canoe, as a team, to the glacier. The work is well worth it and really made me feel like a true adventurer. You can cheat and go by helicopter, but why? You will be outfitted in top of the line gear to keep you dry, but remember to bring your layers as you will need them according to the time of year you go. We went last week (June) and it was VERY cold on the glacier (the drizzle didn’t help). Again, it was worth the chill. Kevin and Kelby were attentive to safety while also striving to provide the best experience for all. Be ready to hike a bit in rocky terrain, but not far. Thanks for the memories!

What a great review! I would have to agree, experiencing a glacier is life changing, especially when you realize how fast its melting at this point. Thank you very much for choosing us to take you out to the ice!

Fantastic tour! Kelsey and Paul were amazing tour guides - very knowledgeable, capable, and friendly - and they made the 5 mile canoe ride so easy and nice for the group (most of which had not canoed before). They provided all the equipment we needed - boots, life vests, rain pants and jackets, helmets, snacks and water. We saw amazing scenery and wildlife (including a bear!) on the lake and of course got to hike around the incredible glacier. Upon returning, they even gave us delicious hot beverages. The logistics were super convenient, too; we were picked up from the tram, driven to the site, and driven back afterward. Highly recommend this experience. Thanks again Kelsey and Paul!

Glad you enjoyed your day with Kelsie and Paul. They definitely make your time in the wilderness that much better. That is also so awesome a bear popped out to say hello! Thank you for the review. Always love seeing appreciation for the logistics, we always try and make things as smooth as possible for you!

We booked this tour for the one day we were visiting Juneau and it was the best decision! Mike and Bryce were our tour leaders and they made sure we had an amazing, fun and unique adventure. We got up close to the glacier (not just view it from miles away like most visitors in any way) after paddling and hiking our way there. This is an active tour but really worth every step! Despite the rainy weather we had a great time and even got to sight a black bear along the coast while canoeing to the glacier. I would highly recommend this activity and this tour group as they were extremely professional and took care of every need. We even got served hot drinks at the end when we got back to the van !
