What To Expect

What an amazing adventure! It started with a canoe ride over to Mendenhall Glacier. After landing we walked through a breathtaking ice cave to the glacier. After putting on crampons, we walked about a mile on the glacier. Our guides Josiah & Paul were knowledgeable, fun and always put safety first. This was a once in a lifetime experience and if you make it to Juneau, your trip would not be complete without this excursion!!

Josiah & Micah are 2 GROOVY adventurous brothers from Colorado that bring beauty, silly nilly jokes, an exhilarating trip of a lifetime on the ice, and to top it off they are safe. These guys are the bomb ! Mendenhall glacier is like being inside an aquarium. The ice is clear and turquoise. You can see rocks embedded into to ice. It feels like glass and is the most amazing experience of Alaskan nature. This was my first trip to Alaska and these guys made it extra wild & exciting ! thanks guys ! keep up the PASSION !

We took the Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure tour, with Griffin and Allison as our guides. These two were FANTASTIC! They're super knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. These two did a great job assisting everyone, and being patient with the pace, and the questions from the group. From facts about the glacier, to creating steps for us in the ice, they were everything that we could have asked for in guides, and the glacier went well beyond expectations. I would recommend this tour to everyone coming off of a cruise, or just visiting Juneau. Don't let the price scare you off... this trip is worth every penny!
