The road is bordered by the emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Make sure you take pictures! You will have 6 hs free in Key West to explore the island at your leisure. Key West lies at the end of the chain of islands known as the Florida Keys and is the southernmost city in the continental United States.

What To Expect

Key West

Pick up: Depending on your location this will range from 6 to 7:30 AM. Make sure you are OUTSIDE of your hotel/pick-up location 5-10 minutes prior to the time stated. Get comfortable while you travel to the Keys and across the Overseas Highway in our well-maintained coach bus with the tour guide speaking about Key West's rich history and culture. Arrive in Key West around 11:30 AM. Explore and experience Key West for 6 hours. See the town for yourself by walking through the streets. Everything is within walking distance! We give you a map of the city so you can handle your way around. Leave Key West around 5:30 PM and get back to Miami around 9:30 - 10:45 PM (depending on the traffic and the drop-off location).

Seven Mile Bridge

There are two bridges in this location. The modern bridge is open to vehicular traffic; the older one only to pedestrians and cyclists. The older bridge, originally known as the Knights Key-Pigeon Key-Moser Channel-Pacet Channel Bridge, was constructed from 1909 to 1912 under the direction of Henry Flagler and Clarence S. Coe as part of the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension, also known as the Overseas Railroad.

US 1 Mile Marker 0

An interesting landmark for US highways. Mile marker zero notes the start of the highway for the US.1. The US.1 stretches from Key West, Florida, more than 2,000 miles to Fort Kent, Maine, not far from the United States-Canada border. The highway connects several major cities along the eastern seaboard such as Boston, Washington, D.C., and Portland, Maine. It’s also commonly referred to as the Overseas Highway in Florida, as it stretches out across the Florida Keys.

Bus ride was uncomfortable. Small bus for a 3 hour trip. Was expecting a double decker bus like the picture showed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We apologize if the bus ride fell short of your expectations. We do have multiple buses in our fleet to accommodate different group sizes and demand. While we strive to provide a double-decker bus experience whenever possible, it may not always be feasible due to the number of passengers on a particular trip. Additionally, it's important to note that we need to regularly maintain our buses to ensure passenger safety and comfort. Therefore, on occasions with lower passenger counts, we opt for regular motorcoach buses, which still offer a spacious seating capacity for at least 60 people, and it's important to note that both our regular motorcoach buses and double-decker buses offer a similar seating capacity and size. The primary distinction is that the double-decker bus features an additional floor. We appreciate your understanding and hope you had an enjoyable experience exploring the destination itself.

The tour bus did not have air conditioning so we were all stuck in a heated bus for 5 hours! Keywest is a rundown place with brown murky water that smells like dead fish! My tour was canceled due to the bus arriving late! Will never come back again!

Unfortunately, the AC issue was unexpected and beyond our control. We made efforts to provide a comfortable experience despite this setback and had a technician check the AC the following day. Regarding Key West's appearance, the recent high precipitation may have impacted the water quality and smell, which is unfortunate. We understand your disappointment with the appearance of Key West, but please note that our tour focuses on providing an informative and enjoyable experience, rather than influencing the overall appearance of the destination. While we strive to create positive experiences for our customers, the natural elements and conditions of Key West are beyond our control. Regarding the arrival time, we assure you that the activities we offer typically begin between 1:00-2:00 PM, and the bus has never arrived at such a late time. If your activity was canceled, it is possible that it was due to weather conditions, as the activity is run by a separate third-party company that we have no control over. We appreciate your understanding and hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future.
